Alley Playmakers Intern
I collaborated with Teaching Artists and other interns to help campers create devised theatrical works throughout their camp session. Campers explored creative expression through costume and prop creation as well as performance. They also learned team-building skills, and of course, had fun. This internship expanded my abilities in directing and classroom management for students in K-8th grade.

I represented the UH School of Theatre and Dance and helped recruit students to audition for various programs within the school. When I was not running the recruitment desk and discussing UH programs with students, I was attending workshops in everything from performance and tech to dramaturgy, choreography, and directing.

TxETA Programming Intern
I worked at the programming desk to help people navigate the hotel, set up workshop spaces, and answer questions people had about workshops. In my free time I was able to attend workshops on directing, teaching improv, devising theatre, dramaturgy, and so much more. I learned a lot and had a great time!
